This sterling silver UNDER thimble is great for any size.  The top is hollow and fits nearly every size.  The top is stainless steel, so it will not scratch up while it's used.  I use mine while quilting... The hand that is under the quilt pushes up along the edge of the thimble.  the needle bounces off the edge and shortens the stitch.  It takes a few minutes to learn the movement and find your rhythm.
